Platform Glossary
Key terms, core metrics, and strategic definitions used throughout the unified Prixion EdTech platform.
Module names are filed under their distinguishing word, so Prixion Match appears under M.
A
- Prixion AI
- The intelligence layer that runs across every Prixion module, automating routine tasks, delivering recommendations, and surfacing risks before they become problems. It never decides about a student on its own: recommendations always go to a human, and your data is never used to train shared AI models.
- Application Dashboard
- The Prixion view where a student tracks every application, offer, and deadline in one place, from initial match through to final enrollment, so no critical step is missed.
- Prixion Apply
- One profile, every application. Apply gives a student a single home for their academic story, including documents, essays, and recommenders. It is built once and reused across every institution they apply to.
- Prixion Assess
- The evaluation module for schools. Assess creates, administers, and analyses assessments, turning results into actionable insight on learning outcomes and instructional effectiveness.
- Audit Trail
- Prixion's complete, reviewable record of administrative activity. Every change is logged with the user, the action, and a timestamp. Audit logs are designed to be tamper-evident and are visible only to authorised administrators.
- Prixion Automation Solutions
- The integration and automation layer. It connects Prixion to the systems an institution already runs, such as CRMs, student information systems, and national platforms. It then automates the manual handoffs between them and keeps records synchronised in real time.
C
- Prixion Command
- The operational view across an education network. It brings live activity, capacity, performance, and risk for every school, district, campus, and region into one real-time picture, so leadership can act on what matters.
- Consent Versioning
- How Prixion handles permission from students and guardians: consent is captured, versioned, and auditable, and the rules behind it can be configured per region to match local requirements.
- Cross-Country Exploration
- The Prixion capability that lets a student compare programs across multiple countries from a single platform, rather than working through a separate portal for each destination.
D
- Data Residency
- Prixion's commitment that your data is stored and processed in your own region, stays under your control, and is never used to train shared AI models. Retention and deletion follow your policies and local regulation.
- Delegated Administration
- A Prixion Governance pattern that lets a central authority hand day-to-day control to regions, districts, or individual institutions while keeping network-wide oversight and the ability to set policy centrally.
- The Prixion Difference
- Prixion's name for its partnership record: 92% of partners choose to continue working with Prixion year after year. It refers to the delivery model and long-term relationships behind the platform, not a feature of it.
E
- Prixion Ecosystem
- The full set of connected Prixion modules, sharing one data layer. Because modules read from the same records, a student moving from discovery to enrollment never has to be re-entered, and every team sees the same source of truth.
- Prixion Engage
- The student engagement module for universities. Engage keeps students connected to their institution through personalised communications, events, and community features that lift retention.
- Prixion Enroll
- From accepted to arrived. Enroll carries a student through deposits, visas, accommodation, documents, and orientation to final enrollment in a single workspace.
F
- Prixion Finance
- The revenue module. Finance manages tuition billing, payment collection, fee structures, and financial reporting, giving an institution full control over revenue cycles and student accounts.
G
- Prixion Governance
- The central control layer for an education network. Governance manages organisation hierarchy, the master school registry, delegated administration, roles and permissions, policy deployment, and compliance controls from one place.
- Grantify by Prixion
- Prixion's student-facing platform, built on the reverse admissions model. A student creates one profile and universities come to them with personalised scholarship offers matched to their goals, instead of the student applying blind, one institution at a time.
I
- Prixion Intelligence
- The single analytics layer for an education network: forecasts, student mobility, risk signals, and outcomes assembled into one picture rather than reconciled across separate reports.
L
- Learner Journey
- Prixion's framing for the entire arc a student travels: discovery, application, offer, enrollment, progression, and outcome. The platform is organised around this arc, which is why modules hand off to one another instead of operating as separate systems.
M
- Master School Registry
- The authoritative list of every institution in a network, maintained in Prixion Governance. It is the reference every other module resolves schools and campuses against, so hierarchy and reporting stay consistent.
- Prixion Match
- The reverse admissions engine. Match reads a student's eligibility against each institution's real published criteria and surfaces the universities, programs, and scholarships they are actually likely to get into. It also lets institutions find qualified applicants the same way.
N
- Prixion Navigate
- The discovery module for schools. Navigate helps students and families find, compare, and shortlist schools using intelligent filters and verified data rather than marketing claims.
O
- Prixion Offers
- The shared transaction layer for admissions. Universities build, approve, and revise offers in one place; students compare, clarify, and accept them in the same place. Every offer action is recorded for audit.
- Prixion Outcomes
- The outcomes reporting module. Outcomes tracks student results, engagement, and retention over time so institutions and ministries can evidence progress and make decisions from data rather than anecdote.
- Prixion Oversight
- See everything, miss nothing. Oversight gives school leaders a real-time view of academic performance, compliance, and institutional health across every department and program.
P
- Prixion Parents
- A controlled window into the journey. Parents gives guardians visibility into progress, deadlines, offers, and costs, plus a place to give consent, without letting them take over the student's process.
- Prixion Pathways
- The planning module for counselors and educators. Pathways designs, visualises, and manages a personalised academic and career route for each student, so guidance is a documented plan rather than a conversation.
R
- Prixion Recruit
- The student recruitment CRM for universities, covering lead generation, campaigns, pipeline tracking, and enrollment conversion in one system, so recruitment effort is measurable end to end.
- Reverse Admissions
- The model behind Prixion Match, and the inverse of a conventional application process. Rather than a student searching blind and applying on spec, eligibility is evaluated first and the qualifying institutions, programs, and scholarships come to the student.
S
- Prixion Scholarships
- The award lifecycle module: creating scholarship programs, managing applications, evaluating candidates, and disbursing funds, with the decision trail retained for audit.
- Smart Profile Matching
- The Prixion mechanism that reads a student's grades, goals, and preferences and returns the universities and programs that fit, replacing open-ended searching with a shortlist the student actually qualifies for.
T
- Prixion Tasks
- The work-tracking module for schools. Tasks assigns, tracks, and escalates work across departments so responsibilities are explicit and nothing falls through the cracks between teams.
- Prixion Thrive
- The student wellbeing module. Thrive identifies at-risk students early, coordinates the support services around them, and measures whether those interventions actually worked.
- Transparent Costs & Duration
- The Prixion principle that a student sees tuition, living costs, and program timelines broken down before committing, so offers can be compared and budgeted on equal terms.
- Prixion Trust
- The assurance layer built for the public sector: regional data residency, identity management and single sign-on against national identity providers, tamper-evident audit trails, and configurable retention.
V
- Verified Program Information
- Program data in Prixion that comes directly from the partner university, covering tuition, duration, entry requirements, and campus details, rather than being aggregated from third parties, so there is no hidden or stale information.
- Prixion Verify
- The trust layer behind every record. Verify checks identity, academic records, references, and documents against their source, so institutions act on confirmed information rather than submitted claims.
W
- White-Label Platform
- Prixion deployed under a government's or institution's own brand. The experience, domain, and identity belong to the partner; Prixion is the infrastructure underneath it.
